Salute to the Services Tea Dance

ART DECO TRUST EVENT

The Salute to the Services Tea Dance returns for 2027 in the grand civic setting of Napier’s Art Deco Municipal Theatre. For one afternoon, the stage of the theatre becomes the venue for vintage radio tunes, tea, coffee and classic afternoon tea fare, with a view across the magnificent Art Deco interior. Join us in acknowledging the service personnel who rolled up their sleeves to help those in need following the 1931 earthquake. Following the toast, take to the dance floor, try the group dance lesson, or simply enjoy the music and camaraderie. Service uniform or period attire is encouraged, and miniatures may be worn.
