Flapper Flight – General Terms and Conditions
1. Booking and Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place on the Flapper Flight charter package.
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the organiser.
Prices are quoted in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the scheduled departure date will receive a full refund, less a $100 administration fee per person.
Cancellations made between 30 and 59 days prior to departure will receive a 50% refund of the total package cost.
Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to departure are non-refundable.
No refund will be given for no-shows or unused portions of the package.
If the event or charter is cancelled by the organiser, a full refund will be issued.

3. Transfers and Substitutions

Bookings are transferable to another person up to 14 days prior to departure, provided the organiser is notified in writing and all passenger details are supplied.
Name changes within 14 days of departure may not be accepted.

4. Check-in and Luggage Allowance

Check-in opens 40 minutes prior to departure and closes 20 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Passengers must present themselves at the Originair check-in counter within this timeframe.
A valid photo ID and booking confirmation or e-ticket are required at check-in for verification.
Each passenger is permitted a checked baggage allowance of 10kg. In addition a small piece of cabin luggage of up to 7kg is permitted in accordance with Originair’s standard baggage policy.
Due to aircraft weight and space limitations, oversized or excess luggage cannot be guaranteed carriage and may be declined at check-in.
Soft-sided bags are recommended for ease of handling and storage.

5. Travel Insurance

Guests are advised to hold comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation, delay, and personal circumstances.

6. Schedule and Itinerary Changes

The organiser reserves the right to amend the flight schedule, accommodation, or itinerary due to operational requirements, safety considerations, or other reasonable causes.
Any necessary changes will be communicated as soon as practicable.

7. Force Majeure

The organiser shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance arising from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, civil unrest, industrial disputes, or air-traffic disruptions.
In such cases, the organiser will make all reasonable efforts to reschedule or offer an appropriate alternative, but refunds may be limited to recoverable costs only.

8. Liability

All passengers travel at their own risk. The organiser, its agents, and service providers accept no responsibility for loss, injury, damage, or expense arising from participation in the package, except as required by law.

9. Acceptance of Terms

By confirming your booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
