Napier Girls’ High: Stories & History Tour

This is your chance to see the Rita Angus mural which commemorates the 1931 earthquake and the merging of the Technical College with Napier Girls’ High School, as well as inside the restrained classically designed main administration building at Napier Girls’ High School. Built post-earthquake with later alterations having maintained the integrity of the design, this historic building is not often open to the public to see.

Please meet on the steps of the Clyde Road entrance to Napier Girls’ High School at 10.30am. The tour will take approximately 90 minutes.
