Treat yourself to a delightful afternoon tea, complete with smooth jazz ballads performed live by our selected talented solo artists. And here’s the twist… you won’t just be in the audience, you’ll be on stage at the Napier Municipal Theatre! Soak up the stunning deco architecture of the auditorium while being serenaded up close. Every ticket includes tea, coffee and your afternoon tea. Cash bar available.

Fri 20 Feb, Afternoon Tea: 2pm – 4pm

Lady Larisa is a premier Art Deco performer celebrated for her dazzling Great Gatsby–style shows and vintage jazz elegance, and has performed on stages around the world. At the Municipal Theatre’s afternoon soiree, she will perform with acclaimed international composer, arranger, and performer Ben Fernandez on piano as an intimate duo, filling the room with timeless swing and golden-era charm.

Sat 21 Feb: Afternoon Tea: 2pm – 4pm

Electro Swiggety is a 1920s experience; a time of hot jazz, wild dancing, secret nightclubs, mob gangsters, beautiful flapper, femme fatales, secret assassins and more. Miss Tara Trumpet leads with her sweet & delicate vocal style and sassy trumpet, Big K Daddy keeps rhythm on the turntables. 

Sun 22 Feb, Afternoon Tea: 2pm – 4pm

Natalie Meszaros is a Hawke’s Bay-based pianist and vocalist with a love of diverse musical styles. With a Bachelor of Music with Honours from the New Zealand School of Music, she has two decades of experience performing music ranging from Beethoven, Led Zeppelin, Stevie Wonder, and well-loved jazz standards. 

PLEASE NOTE: Tickets for this event cannot be sold in person at the Art Dec Trust via our ticketing system, you will need to go to the Napier Municipal Theatre to purchase your tickets if you don’t buy them online.
