Deco Bicycle Belles’ Picnic Ride

INDEPENDENT EVENT

This year our route will take us south on the Rotary Pathway, down to the Ātea a Rangi Star Compass at Waitangi Regional Park just before the Ngaruroro River. Once at the Star Compass you can learn about navigating by the stars. Then enjoy your picnic brunch you have bought with you at Colenso Domain nearby, before riding back to the city. Transport for picnic baskets provided if required. Non-riders and friends are welcome to meet you there and join you for a picnic – the more the merrier!  Deco attire is a must, but you are welcome on any bicycle, be it vintage, modern or even an e-bike and if you don’t have a bike, there are many cycle hire shops in Napier that will be able to assist with this.
